a historically significant and enchanting former monastery located near Siena, in the heart of Tuscany. Founded in the mid-fourteenth century, this former Carthusian monastery boasts a distinctive structure characterized by a grand cloister surrounded by individual residences, known as "Fathers' houses", each with its own private garden or "hortus". These residences were designed to provide monks with solitude and self-sufficiency. The monastery also features smaller cells for lay brothers, a church, a refectory, and a smaller cloister.

One of its standout features is the panoramic garden, terraced on the western hillside, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Tuscan landscape. Today, while the monks no longer inhabit the monastery, its original structure remains well-preserved and has been transformed into a venue for conferences and tourism, offering visitors a unique blend of historical significance, architectural beauty, and the serene ambiance of the Tuscan countryside.
